Golobček Bed & Pizza

Vransko is a small town and municipality in central Slovenia. It lies on the western edge of the Savinja Valley. An old legend says that there was a lake at the place where Vransko is today and crows gathered there. Because of the crows (crow = vrana) the town is called Vransko (“Crow town”). Golobcek Bed&Pizza is situated in the center of Vransko only a kilometer away from the main highway line Ljubljana – Maribor. There are five rooms in our hostel that can accommodate 19 guests. Each room has its own bathroom with shower or bath, TV and Wi-Fi connection. Two of our rooms have balcony. Our hostel has a common place with coffee machine in it and a common terrace. Golobček Bed&Pizza is pet friendly. On the ground floor of our hostel there is one of the oldest pizzerias in Slovenia where you can have a delicious pizza made in masonry oven. The Golobček Pizzeria is a family restaurant from the beginning and it is trying to stay that way. At its opening pizzeria had only four guest tables but today there can eat 50 guests at the time. There is also a beautiful garden opened in summer time where you can bring your pets with. Only a few meters away from our hostel there is a Motorcycle museum where you can see over 100 motorcycles are in exhibit, from world famous makes to rare and precious examples from the twenties. If you walk approximately 50 meters further you can visit Schwentner house, home of Lavoslav Schwentner, famous librarian and publisher.
